10:10 is partnering with Action Aid’s award-winning schools team who will provide case studies, top tips and lots of fun ideas for involving the whole school community. To get you started on your carbon-cutting journey, check out PowerDown, a multimedia learning and action resource to inspire your learners to take a lead on carbon-cutting activities in school. Secondary schools can also get Stupid or Not – Education for a Smarter Planet, based on The Age of Stupid film, with extracts, animations and multimedia learning resources to empower older learners to take action.

For help and practical support cutting your school’s carbon footprint, join the 10:10 Schools Ning. If you post a question, other people in the e-community can help answer it. As well as experienced teachers and heads, there are energy experts and others to help you cut your carbon. Soon, there’ll be a guide to measuring your baseline, and downloadable posters to get the whole school involved.
